English Adventure Club: play, create and grow in confidence

An original small-group day-camp concept for children who would enjoy English through stories, games and creative projects. This is a proposal for the lady to evaluate, not a confirmed offer.

A practical first version

  • Start with one age band: proposed ages 6–10.
  • Five mornings, proposed 09:00–13:00.
  • Target group of 8–10, subject to staffing and venue.
  • English through arts and crafts, sports and science, with a daily speaking challenge.
  • A Friday showcase and a take-home project.
  • A gentle welcome for shy children; clear communication with parents.

Decide before promising

  • Venue, dates, staff and child-to-adult ratio.
  • Price, minimum group and cancellation terms.
  • Equipment and materials included.
  • Whether lunch or extended hours are feasible.
  • Support arrangements and authorised collection process.
  • Specialist trips supplied by an agreed partner.

Positioning: A child who enjoys using English, a visible project to bring home, and parents who know exactly what they are paying for.

Families needing full-day care or football in English can explore an established operator instead. The proposed camp is not included in the ranking until its details are confirmed.

For the organiser: the offer and referral model

A focused English camp

Build around English through stories, drama and creative play, small groups, a weekly theme and a Friday parent showcase. Publish a clear fee, hours, actual staff ratio and inclusions. Joylandia and Kids&Us already offer several of these features, so the location, personal attention and programme need to give parents a clear reason to choose her.

Price benchmarks: Joylandia lists €145/week excluding IGIC; American School lists €158/week for external pupils before optional lunch. Canterbury lists €455/two weeks including lunch. These are 2026 benchmarks; set her price after costing staff, venue, materials and taxes.

Her camp plus trusted referrals

Use the parent’s answers to suggest her confirmed programme or another English camp. Initially, parents enquire and book directly with each operator. Agree tracking, commission, refunds and payment terms separately; disclose any paid referral alongside the recommendation. No partnership or commission rate is agreed yet.

Next step: confirm the missing prices at Brains, Oakley and Kids&Us, plus next-season dates and exact inclusions with every operator. Keep the same questions and replace the local English-camp catalogue to reuse this model in another town.

Research scope: Eight English-focused programmes in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, including its school campuses. Other Canary Islands are excluded. 2026 availability has ended; 2027 terms require confirmation.

No commission arrangements are active in this prototype. External links are ordinary source links. No parent or child information is sent by this questionnaire. Source descriptions are paraphrased; branding and curricula belong to their owners.
